OK, here’s another song that is probably (!) not the best song in the world ever, but this was a fun song to make (I couldn’t decide if I should leave my giggles in as they’re not really part of the melody…). Coronavirus was spreading around the globe so creating this song was a nice escape. I hope YOU have some place you can call sanctuary. All that gloomy media can get you down if you’re not careful. Listening to this song will take your mind off it (there’s nothing like my singing voice to distract you from your own thoughts!).

The Wires
This collection of sounds turned into a joke, despite not being comical. Regardless, it was fun to make! I think towards the end I sound a bit like an exasperated Micky Flanagan (with his pint of milk and a cut loaf). Probably not the perfect song but rather a step along the path towards it…
331 – Just an Animal
Bit of a rocker this one. I hear a little Lydon in the vocals. Not sure the microphone could really handle it. Will you be able to? ™
326 – Second Life
Today’s track is a bit of a wailer if I’m going to be totally honest with you. There’s a section that really only a Vogon would love. Now that I come to think of it, perhaps that is who my target audience is! Anyway, I had much fun annoying the neighbours with this track so I thought I’d share the love and so you, too, can now annoy your neighbours by playing this really loud! (Of course, just remember not to expose your own ear drums!). ™
339 – Just Going To Say – Part ii
I’m enjoying spring and took a break from the weeding to plant this fresh track! Sorry for the blatant advertisement on the song cover – now-a-days anything free has advertising on it! Well this track was free and it doesn’t have any advertising!
…except for the bit on the song cover…
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! ™
322 – Pouring the perfect pint
A mellow number this one, something about the planet being blue… who knows what I’m mumbling on about? Not me! Anyway, enjoy this one and, as always, be sure to stopper your ears with candle wax prior to listening for maximum enjoyment!™
314 – June 8th
321 – Lakewood Girl
This one came out sounding a bit britpop so for any chance of commercial success I should have released it at least 25 years ago. Does this mean I am only 25 years behind modern music!? May have to take the time machine for a spin again. This track was written for the bass player of a band I play with. The plan is for my wife to sing it (hence all the references to “my husband” which sounds a bit quirky coming from me). Anyway, this ones for you Cris! Enjoy.
318 – Pure Idiot
This is one of those songs where you just listen to the tune and let the lyrics conjure up visions of exotic vistas, far away unknown alien planets where bees hang around in hives waiting for purple plants to pollinate them. Enjoy™
312 – Who You Are
What can I write about this song? Well it helps to be a little inebriated – ok I am exaggerating – simply being deaf ought to do be sufficient. The warbling! The Vogon poetry! Who you are man! Yeah!
