What can I say about this song that hasn’t already been said? First track to use triple lead vox (take that all those double tracked songs!). Live drumming on the chorus to add some snap. Ends with a nod to my favourite Beatles song (without the squeak!). First take guitar solo! No autotune (self-evident!) but I figure all the mistakes and out of key singing cancel each other out to give the perfect performance! It’s summertime here so I’ve been reading a bit and that influenced the song-writing process. There’s a sly Fawlty Towers reference near the end see if you can catch it in amongst all the literary references…
